Springtime is nearly here, and at Palomar Christian Center, we’re ready for it. This is the season when things really kick into gear for us, and we prepare for everything we have planned for the rest of the year. We have great expectations for 2020, and as new life springs forth, we can’t help but feel excited for all we have in store for our campers and retreat groups.
This is the time of year when nature truly shows us all the color and diversity in God’s creation. Animals emerge from hibernation, birds return from winter migration, warmer weather rides on springtime winds, causing winter to fully rescind. Flowers bud and flora blooms, fully releasing fragrant perfumes. As showers fall, enriching earth, nature’s splendor sees rebirth.
In many ways, we’re not so different. We may have made resolutions for ourselves at the beginning of the year, but it’s really during spring that we truly experience a renewal of spirit. We are part of the natural world, and just like plants, this is the time for us to grow and thrive.
God has set in motion all the necessary components in life to help us move in that direction; it’s just a matter of believing His word and trusting in His plan.
At Palomar Christian Center, we know it can be hard at times to stay rooted in our faith. There are so many distractions in this busy, modern world that often we find we forget to concentrate on what’s really important. That’s what inspired us to develop a fun place for people to gather, reconnect with nature, and take part in one another’s faith journeys.
If you are wanting a place where you can work on your spiritual development with other people of the Christian faith, look at the many opportunities offered at Palomar Christian Center. With plenty of programs with an array of focuses, our Christian camp is a safe and enjoyable place for children and teenagers to spend their summers, so plan ahead of time and register your child today. Looking to book a retreat at Palomar Christian Center?
